Chief Minister’s roadshow is taking place during the first phase of voting in 89 of the state’s 182 seats. According to the Election Commission, there are 5,74,560 voters between the ages of 18 and 19, and 4,945 voters above the age of 99. There are 163 NRI voters, 125 of them are men and 38 of whom are women.

There are 14,382 polling places, including 3,311 in urban regions and 11,071 in rural ones.

EC reports that during first phase of voting, 13,065 polling stations in 19 districts are being live broadcast. Chief Electoral Officer also operates a state-level monitoring room in Gandhinagar. From 6.30 a.m. till the vote is over, there has been continuous observation.

The entire arrangement has been formed in accordance with the Election Commission’s directives. Voting is taking place at a total of 25,430 polling places in the first phase. A total of 13,065 voting booths are live broadcast.

Mehsana, in particular, will vote in the second round of the Gujarat Assembly election on December 5.
