Gujarat: PM Modi Visits Robot Exhibition, Inaugurates Gujarat Global Summit

Prime Minister Modi embarked on an exploration of a fascinating robot exhibition in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on Wednesday. During this event, he also inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

Accompanied by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, PM Modi graced the occasion with his presence, underscoring the significance of this event. The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, known for its ability to attract industry stalwarts, eminent figures from the realm of trade and commerce, budding entrepreneurs, and students from higher education institutions specializing in technical disciplines, promises to be an influential gathering.

In a move aimed at advancing technological infrastructure and connectivity in rural areas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled development projects worth a staggering Rs 5,206 crores in Chhota Udepur, Gujarat. The provision of village Wi-Fi facilities in 22 districts is a move that is poised to bring digital access and opportunities to numerous rural communities.

The Gujarat government had earlier disclosed in a statement on Monday that Prime Minister Modi’s visit would be instrumental in inaugurating projects valued at Rs 4,505 crore as part of the Mission Schools of Excellence initiative. As per the statement, “During his visit, he will inaugurate and dedicate various development projects worth Rs 5,206 crore in Chhota Udepur district. Under the Mission Schools of Excellence project, development works worth Rs 4,505 crore will be inaugurated and dedicated by the Prime Minister.”

Among the initiatives to be unveiled are the newly constructed Navodaya Vidyalaya in Dahod, a project that came to fruition at a cost of Rs 23 crore, and an FM Radio Studio, an investment of Rs 10 crore. Furthermore, the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate village Wi-Fi facilities that will extend their reach to benefit 20 lakh beneficiaries across 7,500 villages spanning 22 districts.

The statement added that, “Development projects worth Rs 277 crore under the Roads and Buildings Department, Rs 251 crore under the Urban Development Department, and Rs 80 crore under the Water Supply Department will also be inaugurated and dedicated.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Gujarat stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to fostering technological advancement and overall development in the region, promising a brighter future for its residents.
