PM Modi To Unveil India's First Underwater Metro in Kolkata Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to inaugurate India’s first underwater Metro facility in the city of Kolkata on Wednesday, marking a major step forward for transportation in the city. The conference expanded to include major metro and rapid transit projects across the country and highlighted the government’s commitment to improving urban mobility and connectivity.

In addition to the underground metro, Prime Minister Modi will also open the Kavi Subhash – Hemanta Mukhopadhyay metro section and Taratala – Majerhat metro section, which are components of the Joka-Esplanade line. The rally has started to continue beyond Kolkata, where Prime Minister Modi will be present to wave flags to mark the closure of various projects across the country.
