Books: ‘The Grand Success of G20 Bharat Presidency: Visionary Leadership, Inclusive Approach,’ ‘India’s G20 Presidency: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ and ‘Compendium of G20 University Connect Programme.’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, unveiled four books celebrating India’s successful G20 presidency. These books were introduced during the G20 University Connect Finale event and are now accessible in ebook format on the G20India website and its application.

One of the books, titled ‘Showcasing Indian Culture at G-20,’ highlights the vast and diverse spectrum of Indian culture that was presented to G20 delegates across the country during the presidency.

India’s G20 Presidency’s official social media account, ‘X,’ shared this announcement, stating, “The four publications released by PM @narendramodi at the #G20 University Connect Finale are available at the #G20India website and app in ebook format!”

During India’s G20 presidency, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) team, led by Joint Secretary MEA and Deputy Director General ICCR Abhay Kumar and guided by Director General of ICCR Kumar Tuhin, orchestrated more than 300 cultural programs that involved over 17,000 artists across 60 locations throughout the nation. This initiative allowed India to showcase its cultural richness and establish itself as a premier tourism destination.

Remarkably, this marked the first instance of G20 events being hosted in every state and union territory of India, offering each region the opportunity to exhibit its unique cultural heritage. Throughout its G20 presidency, India successfully emphasized its diverse cultural legacy, encompassing performing arts, visual arts, heritage sites, and culinary traditions, fostering cross-cultural understanding among member nations.

India’s G20 presidency not only projected its cultural influence but also highlighted its economic potential in the cultural and tourism sectors, instilling a sense of national pride. A series of classical, folk, and tribal dance performances, as well as musical presentations, showcased India’s multicultural and pluralistic society at G20 events held across the country.

These captivating performances showcased the nation’s vibrant artistic heritage, with each dance and musical form exuding its distinct flavor and narrative. Additionally, the G20 University Connect initiative aimed to familiarize India’s youth with the country’s G20 presidency and boost their participation in various G20 events.

Prime Minister Modi also unveiled other publications on this occasion, including ‘The Grand Success of G20 Bharat Presidency: Visionary Leadership, Inclusive Approach,’ ‘India’s G20 Presidency: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ and the ‘Compendium of G20 University Connect Programme.’
