Rajasthan: PM Slams Congress Over Rising Crime Cases

PM unveiled development projects worth over Rs 7,000 crores in Chittorgarh, reiterating the BJP’s commitment to ensuring women’s safety in Rajasthan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his distress at the surge in criminal activities in Rajasthan and attributed the decline to the Congress party’s governance over the past five years. While addressing the gathering, he lamented that Rajasthan had the highest number of reported cases of crimes against women, riots, stone-pelting incidents, and atrocities against women and Dalits. He questioned whether the people had voted for Congress with these outcomes in mind.

PM Modi emphasized that only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could bring comprehensive development to Rajasthan, underscoring that the state’s progress was a top priority for the central government. He also criticized Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for allegedly conceding defeat.

Confident of the BJP’s victory, the Prime Minister assured that the party would uphold welfare-oriented policies while taking action against corruption. Additionally, he unveiled development projects worth over Rs 7,000 crores in Chittorgarh, reiterating the BJP’s commitment to ensuring women’s safety in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan, along with four other states, is set to hold elections by the end of this year.
