On Friday, Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav is expected to visit Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi, three days after the Mahagathbandhan alliance established the government in Bihar, with Nitish Kumar staying in the CM’s chair. Nitish Kumar and Tejahswi Yadav took their oaths as chief minister and deputy chief minister, respectively, on Wednesday. On August 24, the Mahagathbandhan government will be put to the test.

The Congress was vital in the creation of the Mahagathbandhan administration, since the basis for what Bihar experienced a few days ago was built when Nitish Kumar called Sonia Gandhi while Sonia Gandhi was fighting Covid. It was a courtesy visit, but Nitish Kumar reportedly told Sonia that the BJP was attempting to split his party.

According to reports, Sonia Gandhi wanted him to contact Rahul Gandhi as well. Nitish Kumar contacted Tejashwi, who contacted Rahul Gandhi. According to reports, Rahul Gandhi subsequently agreed to communicate with the party’s state unit, and this is how the entire screenplay of destabilising the NDA coalition while maintaining Nitish Kumar in power was written.
