Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Young Devotees Dresses up as Lord Ram, Goddess Sita to Invite People

The campaign, initiated ahead of the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Lord Shri Ram Lalla, commenced with children enthusiastically dressing up as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, knocking on every door in Ayodhya to extend personal invitations for the auspicious event.

In a heartwarming display of religious fervor, children adorned in vibrant costumes depicting characters from the revered epic Ramayana went door-to-door in Ayodhya, inviting residents to participate in the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple scheduled for January 22.

The campaign, initiated ahead of the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Lord Shri Ram Lalla, commenced with children enthusiastically dressing up as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, knocking on every door in Ayodhya to extend personal invitations for the auspicious event. Avni Kumar Shukla, the organizer of the initiative, expressed the significance of instilling the values of Lord Ram in the younger generation.

“About 259 children are participating in this festival. Today, they are making all of us happy by dressing up as Ram and Sita. Even the small children should know his ideals and adopt his values in their lives,” said Shukla, emphasizing the cultural and educational aspects of the event.

Anil Mishra, an official from the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, shared the excitement surrounding the impending arrival of Lord Ram in Ayodhya on January 22. The consecration ceremony, a momentous occasion for millions of devotees, marks a significant milestone in the construction of the Ram Temple, a project that has long held deep cultural and religious importance.

In a parallel celebration, Vidya Bharti schools in Ayodhya added to the festive atmosphere by organizing a program titled “Ram Roop Saja” and hosting a cultural event. Anil Mishra expressed the enthusiasm of the children, stating, “The children are very excited. Today, all the children were dressed up as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.”

The entire town is abuzz with anticipation as the consecration ceremony draws near, with residents and devotees eagerly preparing to witness and participate in this historic event that holds profound cultural and religious significance for the people of Ayodhya and beyond.
