Amid all the allegations coming from the eight-time Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar against the Bhartiya Janta Party, speculations are coming from the world of politics that there might be a chance of Kumar forming a ‘third front’ to contest for the candidature of the Prime Minister.

In Indian politics, the term “Third Front” refers to several coalitions established by minor parties throughout the course of 1989 to provide voters with a third alternative in addition to the Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party.

These speculations are catching fire as questions were raised when Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with the BJP to ally with the Tejashwi Yadav RJD, and speculations say that Nitish Kumar is going to stand for the candidature of the next Prime Minister.
Where Senior leaders of BJP – Ravi Shankar Prasad took a jibe by saying he’s free to daydream and Sanjay Jaiswal straight away said there’s no vacancy!

Political Analysts speculate that there will be a third front coming together to strengthen the candidature of Nitish Kumar.
But it is easier said than done, as to bring everyone together is a tough row to hoe.

As there are parties like Aam Aadmi Party, Trinamool Congress, and Nationalist Congress Party, everyone wants a bite at the cherry.

So to bring them together and convince them to elect one leader is a feat in itself, although the 2015 swearing-in of Nitish Kumar had the smiling attendance of Mamta Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, Sharad Pawar, Deve Gowda, and the Abdullahs of Kashmir, besides BJP frenemies Shiv Sena and Akali Dal, to celebrate the victorious Grand Alliance of the RJD, JD(U) and the Congress. It was also speculated that Nitish Kumar might emerge as a candidate for the race of becoming the next PM.

All the analyst can do is speculate for the moment, until a real development occurs.

Nitish Kumar swore eighth time as the Chief Minister of Bihar along with Tejaswhi Yadav as the deputy CM, in attendance with Lalu Yadav and family.
