Pick-Up Vehicle Overturns In MP's Dindori, Leaving 14 Dead, 20 Injured

The Prime Ministry made a statement on the issue and said: “CM Mohan Yadav expressed his sadness over the untimely death of many people in the vehicle in the accident that occurred in Dindoli town. May God grant patience to the mourning family.”

At least 14 people were killed and 20 people were injured when a truck overturned at Badjhar Ghat in Madhya Pradesh’s Dindori district on Wednesday night, police said.

When the news arrived, the police arrived at the scene and sent the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Dindori Collector Vikas Mishra confirmed the details and said: “The truck lost control and overturned at Badjhar ghat in Dindori, killing 14 people and injuring 20 others. He is receiving treatment at Shahpura Community Health Centre.”

Responding to the incident, Prime Minister Mohan Yadav expressed grief and announced that ex-gratia of 400,000 rupees would be given to the families of the dead. He also asked the authorities to provide necessary medical care to those injured in the incident.

Also, BJP leader Om Prakash Dhurve visited Shahpura Community Health Center on Thursday morning and met those injured in the Dindori incident.
