Yogi Adityanath : 'Ram Rajya' Ensures Equal Access To Welfare Schemes For All Citizens

The Prime Minister said, “The essence of Ram Rajya lies in good governance, ensuring harmony of welfare programs for all without any compromise.” He said the reforms in various departments were in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, highlighting their role in promoting transparency and fighting corruption.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath talked about the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ equated with good governance to ensure fair healthcare to all citizens without discrimination. Addressing an event organized by the Ministry of Food, Civil Supplies and Rural Development at Lok Bhavan, CM Yogi talked about the evolution of technology in governance and how it promotes rapid development in the lives of the people of the same.

During the event, CM Yogi inaugurated 1100 Annapurna Bhawan and built the electric scale attached to them. – POS machines are available in 79,000 convenience stores across the state. He praised these initiatives to transform the distribution of products, especially food products, and ensure that they reach people in need.

Looking back, CM Yogi recalls that before 2014, there were widespread inefficiencies in distribution, distribution cards often did not translate into actual deliveries, leading to death by starvation. However, with the integration of technologies such as e-POS systems and electronic meters, major changes have occurred, benefiting approximately 150 million people in 80,000 convenience stores in the state.

The Prime Minister praised the use of technology not only to solve the problem of hunger but also to stop corruption in distribution. He emphasized improving monitoring capacity to ensure the smooth movement of food from FCI warehouses to quota stores under the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” policy.

CM Yogi thanked the BJP government for its support of inclusive development, highlighting the unprecedented progress made in ensuring food security eradicating poverty, and eliminating corruption in distribution. He praised the governance model through which the BJP, which was earlier considered a failure, achieved this.

Discussing the importance of Annapurna Bhawans, CM Yogi underlined their role as a sustainable model for food distribution by providing additional resources like cheap medicines and necessities: panic at home. He emphasized the government’s commitment to overall development and poverty alleviation by announcing plans to extend similar facilities to all 80,000 food shops in the state.

Finally, CM Yogi reiterated the government’s resolve to prioritize the health of all citizens, irrespective of caste, religion, or origin. He criticized the previous government for lack of vision and compared its ineffective policies with the good work done by the current government, which focuses on infrastructure and employment creation through initiatives such as Annapurna Bhavans Chance.
