The majority threshold in Gujarat is 92 out of the 182 seats. On the list, the Aam Aadmi Party is third with a lead of 9 seats. On two seats, the independents are also in the lead. The Arvind Kejriwal-led party is continually gaining ground and has led in nine Assembly districts.
According to information released by the Election Commission up to 9:45 am, the BJP maintained its lead with 112 seats out of the Assembly’s 182 members.
As of 9:30 am, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who is running from Ghatlodiya against AAP candidate Vijay Patel and Congress candidate Amee Yajnik, is in the lead with 15,032 votes.

Isudan Gadhvi, an AAP candidate for the chief minister from Khambhalia, is now in the lead with 4,088 votes overall over BJP candidate Ayar Mulubhai Hardasbhai Bera and Congress candidate Ahir Vikrambhai Arjanbhai Maadam.
