According to AAP insiders, the BJP’s “promise” to Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, that all charges against him would be withdrawn if he switched sides was captured on tape.

The audio tape would be made public by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) “when the time comes,” they claimed.
One of the sources told the news agency, “We have the audio recording of the BJP’s offer and would make it public to expose the saffron party when the time comes.

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, claimed on Monday that the BJP had approached him with the offer to drop all charges against him in exchange for joining their party. He also insisted that all of the accusations against him were untrue and that he would never submit to “conspirators and corrupt people.”
Sisodia’s assertions were supported by AAP leaders, however, neither they nor the deputy chief minister provided the identity of the BJP member who had made these proposals to Sisodia.

Sanjay Singh, the Rajya Sabha MP and national spokesman for the AAP, dodged a straight question on how Sisodia was able to record the BJP’s “offer” when the CBI had his phone in custody during a news conference.

“The only medium is a phone? The BJP leaders are unaware of the tools they employ to carry out this activity. For this effort, the BJP employs a variety of strategies, instruments, and methods, including the phone, messengers, and meetings “Said Singh.
Everything will be “disclosed” when the time comes, he continued.

“The BJP has carried it out (approached Sisodia). They are moving in that direction. We’re also moving forward. Wait, we’ll reveal everything when it’s appropriate, “Said Singh.

In relation to suspected anomalies in the execution of the Delhi excise policy, it is significant to note that Manish Sisodia is one of 15 individuals and businesses included in an FIR filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, according to the news agency.

The CBI conducted a raid on the AAP leader’s home on Friday due to allegations of corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021–2022. He has emphasised that his prosecution is an attempt to thwart the excellent job being done by the Arvind Kejriwal-led government and to place impediments in the way of the AAP head, who has emerged as a challenger to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a related event, the Delhi BJP protested against suspected anomalies in the AAP government’s excise policy on Monday in the Civil Lines neighbourhood, close to the house of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Adesh Gupta, the head of the Delhi BJP, who was present at the demonstration, said that since Manish Sisodia is “accused number one” in the CBI probe, Kejriwal should remove him from his Cabinet. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is looking into the suspected anomalies in the Excise Policy 2021–22 of the Delhi government.
