Gogamedi Killers Seen at Rewari Railway Station in Fresh CCTV Footage

The video places them at Rewari railway station in Haryana on December 6, just a day after allegedly committing the heinous crime at Gogamedi’s residence in Jaipur.

A chilling CCTV footage has emerged, revealing the movements of Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathore, prime suspects in the murder of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The video places them at Rewari railway station in Haryana on December 6, just a day after allegedly committing the heinous crime at Gogamedi’s residence in Jaipur.

Sources suggest that after leaving Rewari, Fauji and Rathore made their way to Hisar, where they were joined by an accomplice named Udham. Udham’s role was reportedly to facilitate their escape to Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, providing them with a safe haven. However, upon learning of police searches in their pursuit, the trio decided to abandon their initial plan and returned to Chandigarh.

It was during their stay in Chandigarh that law enforcement caught up with them. The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch, in collaboration with the Rajasthan Police, apprehended the two main suspects, along with Udham, in the early hours of Sunday. The arrest unfolded at a liquor shop where the accused were reportedly consuming alcohol and plotting their next moves.

On December 9, the assailants, Fauji and Rathore, were brought to the Crime Branch office in the national capital. The coordinated efforts of Delhi and Rajasthan Police led to the arrest, highlighting a significant breakthrough in the investigation.

In a previous development on December 9, Jaipur Police arrested Ramveer Singh, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, in connection with Gogamedi’s killing. The Karni Sena chief was fatally shot at his residence in Shyam Nagar, Jaipur, on December 5, with Fauji and Rathore identified as two of the assailants.

The incident also involved an exchange of gunfire with the police, resulting in the death of a third assailant, Naveen Shekhawat, at Gogamedi’s residence. A security guard was injured during the crossfire.

The trail of the accused extends to November 9 when Fauji and his associates allegedly opened fire on uniformed personnel at Mahendragarh Police Station Sadar, managing to evade capture at that time.

The recent arrests mark a significant step forward in the investigation, shedding light on the intricate details surrounding the shocking murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Authorities continue to gather evidence and piece together the motives behind the crime.
