Nikhil Siddhartha is a fairly popular name in the Telugu film industry. The versatile actor has made a name for himself with his sincere performances and striking screen presence. He added a new dimension to his stardom with ‘Karthikeya 2’, which emerged as one of the biggest surprise hits of 2022. He is now back in the limelight. On Saturday, March 16, he took to social media to announce ‘Karthikeya 3’. 

Nikhil shared a couple of photos on X, formerly known as Twitter, and announced a ‘new adventure’ is all set to begin. 

“Dr. Karthikeya In Search of a Brand new Adventure … Soon🔥 @chandoomondeti #Karthikeya3 #Karthikeya2 #cinema #adventure,” read his post. 

Director Chandoo Mondeti is currently working on the script and the film is expected to go on floors soon. 

‘Karthikeya’ (2014) featured Nikhil as Dr Karthikeya, an atheist who  acknowledges the existence of ‘something beyond science’ following a series of experiences. It starred Swathi in the reading lady and became fairly popular. 

‘Karthikeya 2’, its sequel, released in 2022 and exceeded expectations at the box office. It revolved around the search for Lord Krishna’s anklet. It was released in Telugu and Hindi, which helped it reach a wider audience. The cast featured Anupam Kher, Anupama Parameswaran, and Adithya Menon. 

‘Karthikeya 3’ will be shot in 3D and is expected to be ‘bigger and better’ than thew previous installments. 

“I am very happy that Karthikeya 2 is part of the list (of successful films). As far as Karthikeya 3 is concerned, I can tell you it is definitely arriving and it will be made in 3D,” he once told OTT Play. 

However, its cast is yet to be announced

Nikhil, meanwhile, was last seen in ‘Spy’. The film was released amid much fanfare but ended up being a flop. It was directed by Garry BH. The cast included Iswarya Menon, Jisshu, and  Makarand Deshpande.
