WWE legend Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, has passed away at the age of 71 following a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home on the morning of July 24, 2025. Emergency responders were called early Thursday (July 24) , and Hogan was taken from his residence on a stretcher and into an ambulance.

Born Terry Eugene Bollea on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia, Hulk Hogan rose to fame in the 1980s and early 1990s as wrestling’s most recognizable figure. Sporting his trademark handlebar mustache, yellow bandanas, and catchphrases like “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?”, Hogan played a pivotal role in turning WWE (then WWF) into a household name worldwide.
