On the anniversary of the passing of the legendary actor Sridevi, her daughter Khushi Kapoor shared a heartfelt throwback picture featuring her mother alongside Khushi and sister Janhvi.

Khushi chose Instagram stories as the platform to share this precious memory.

In the photo, the late actress looks resplendent in a blue saree, her hair elegantly tied in a bun with sindoor, and adorned with two nose pins. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, radiate joy in their pink attire, wearing bright smiles.

Sridevi departed on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, where she was attending a family gathering. In 1996, she tied the knot with producer Boney Kapoor, and the couple was blessed with daughters – Janhvi and Khushi.

Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, Sridevi was celebrated for her iconic roles in Hindi cinema, including memorable performances in ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Sadma’, and ‘English Vinglish’, among others.

The Padma Shri awardee made an indelible mark with her exceptional acting across various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Her final film was ‘Mom’, a poignant drama for which she posthumously received the Best Actress National Award.

In recent updates, Khushi Kapoor was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, a coming-of-age musical film set in the fictional town of Riverdale. This film explores themes of friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak, and rebellion, offering audiences a poignant journey through these youthful experiences.
