Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor welcomed a baby boy on Saturday. Sonam Kapoor announced the exciting news of her baby’s birth on Instagram by posting a photo along with the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and a blue heart emoji. In their statement, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja said: “Our hearts and heads were humbled when we received our adorable baby boy on August 20, 2202. Thank you to all the medical professionals, nurses, friends, and family who have helped us along the way. Although it’s just the beginning, we already know that our lives will never be the same. Anand and Sonam.”
Karan Johar hosted an Instagram live session on Saturday evening to respond to the news that Sonam Kapoor had given birth to a baby boy. She and her spouse Anand Ahuja had their first child on August 19. Karan sent the Kapoor family his warmest wishes on this special occasion.
Anil and Sunita Kapoor, who recently became grandparents, joined Sonam and Anand in congratulating them during the Instagram live. He also named Rhea Kapoor, a film producer, and Karan Boolani, Rhea Kapoor’s spouse. I can’t believe Sonam is a mother today, he remarked. Because he is a jawaan as heck, I don’t believe Anil would appreciate being called a nana (grandfather).
Sonam’s colleagues in the business congratulated the pair in the comments section. Priyanka Chopra then congratulated the newly minted parents on her Instagram story. In the meantime, Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed their daughter Maltie Marie Jonas Chopra via surrogacy in January of this year.
After dating for a few years, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were united in marriage in Mumbai in May 2018. A star-studded wedding and reception were held for them. Anand Ahuja owns the sneaker boutique VegNonVeg and the fashion line Bhane.
