MI vs RCB, IPL 2026 Live Score: Mumbai Indians’ return home was spoiled by the batters from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The visitors scored 240 and registered an 18-run win at the Wankhede Stadium. The hosts could not get going in the tall chase. Sherfane Rutherford top-scored for them with 71 runs, but the five-time champions still fell short. Meanwhile, the clash that started at 7:30 finished in almost four and a half hours, with multiple players being injured. 

In the first innings, Rajat Patidar (53) starred for the defending champions. The RCB skipper went all guns blazing after an early assault from Phil Salt (78). Virat Kohli (50) had an off night playing at a strike rate of only 131. Meanwhile, Tim David scored 34 off 16 to provide the finishing touches. For the Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah, once again, remained wicketless and went for 35 runs in his four overs. Trent Boult, Hardik Pandya, Mitchell Santner, and Shardul Thakur picked up a wicket each.
