3 held in Delhi's Vasant Vihar Minor Rape Case

Three persons have been detained for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in the Vasant Vihar neighbourhood of the nation’s capital.

According to authorities, up to three persons have been detained for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in the Vasant Vihar neighbourhood of the nation’s capital.

The event happened on July 6, and the police were notified of it on July 8. In accordance with the complainant’s testimony, a case has been filed against each of the three accused, who are aged 23, 25, and 35, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the POCSO Act and the Indian Penal Code’s Rape section.

According to the police, on July 6 at approximately 8.30 p.m., the victim had taken a trip in the automobile with the three accused people.

Earlier on July 8, at around 4 a.m., Delhi Police received a PCR call from S.J. Hospital, in which the caller reported a case of harassment involving a minor.

“When questioned by the counsellor, the girl revealed that on July 6 she was approached by two well-known guys who offered to take her for a pleasure ride to Mahipalpur where they all consumed alcohol. They then drove to a desolate location, where the males sexually assaulted her inside the vehicle “police reported.

However, there have been no reports of the person having visible wounds.
