Delhi police arrests Sidhu Moosewala's killer from Kashmere Gate ISBT

Ankit, one of the two gangsters, was one of the gunmen that killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district on May 29. He was also involved in other heinous murder attempts in Rajasthan.

The Delhi Police Special Cell nabbed two gangsters from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang on Monday. Ankit, one of the two gangsters, was one of the gunmen that killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district on May 29.
He was also involved in other heinous murder attempts in Rajasthan.

Sachin Bhiwani, the other accused, was responsible for harbouring four of the gunmen in the Sidhu Moosewala case.

Ankit Sirsa shot Sidhu from close range. He was accompanied by Priyavrat Fauji in a car. The accused’s car waylaid Moose Wala, by blocking his vehicle. They shot Moose Wala and then fled the spot. Priyavrat Fauji was the head of the ‘Bolero Module’ of the gang.

The two suspects were apprehended by Delhi Police near Kashmere Gate Bus Stand. They discovered a 9 MM barrel handgun with 10 ammunition, a.30 MM pistol with nine cartridges, three Punjab Police uniforms, and two mobile phones with a dongle and a SIM card.

On June 20, the Delhi Police nabbed two sharpshooters, Priyavrat Fauji and Kuldeep alias Kashish, off the Khari-Mithi Road in the Gujarat region of Kutch. During their interrogation in custody, the accused admitted to switching hideouts 58 times following the crime before being apprehended.

HGS Dhaliwal, commissioner of the Delhi Police Special Cell, stated that although shooters Ankit and Deepak joined Priyavrat Fauji and Kashish in the Bolera that stopped Moose Wala’s car from behind, additional gunmen Jagroop and Manpreet Mannu assaulted the singer’s vehicle from the front.

During questioning, Fauji also stated that the weapons and ammo used in the singer’s murder were brought about an hour before the occurrence by several unknown motorcycle-riding males. According to a Delhi Police official, the killers were in contact with Canada-based mobster Goldy Brar, who was providing them with orders over internet phones.
