Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, interim president of the Congress, were called by the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday in connection with the National Herald case.
The investigation into the National Herald case was completed in 2015. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, a Congress lawmaker, lambasted the BJP at a press conference, accusing it of creating proxy agencies to intimidate political opponents.
“In this scenario, there isn’t anything.” He went on to say, “We’ll give them whatever answer they want.”
