The 36th National Games was officially launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday during a ceremony held at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Players from India used to compete in less than a hundred international competitions up until eight years ago. More than 300 international competitions now feature Indian athletes,” Modi stated.
