Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

As he took part in the festivities at Narendra Modi Stadium here, PM Modi was given presents. The event was also attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Farmer participation in cultural events from throughout the state was organized in large numbers. More than Rs 22,850 crore worth of development projects will be unveiled by PM Modi during his visit.

The projects will cover key areas in districts like Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Anand, Mahesana, Kachchh, Kheda, Bharuch, Tapi, Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Panchmahal, Valsad, and Narmada, including road, rail, energy, health, and internet connectivity. Additionally, PM Modi will dedicate development projects totaling over Rs 5,040 crore for Dream City, Surat Municipal Corporation, and Surat Urban Development Authority. This includes the inauguration of 18 development projects worth over Rs 2,000 crore and the laying of the foundation stone for 41 projects worth more than Rs 3,000 crore.

Additionally, 50 electric buses that cost Rs 840 crore to purchase will be unveiled by PM Modi. Additionally, he will officially open a number of DREAM City Limited projects, which have an estimated cost of Rs 49 crore, as well as several parts of the Tapi Purification Project, which was built at a cost of Rs 597 crore. He is going to visit eleven districts in the South Zone of Gujarat, including Vadodara, Navsari, Bharuch, Tapi, Valsad, Panchmahal, Surat, Chhotaudepur, Dahod, and Mahisagar. In each of these districts, he will lay the groundwork and inaugurate development projects that will span ten departments and cost more than Rs 5,400 crore.
