Police initiate probe after Delhi school gets bomb threat

Delhi Police stated that an email was received on the official email ID of Indian Public School.

On Wednesday, students at a Delhi school were evacuated following an email bomb threat. According to Delhi Police, an email was sent this morning to Indian Public School in Sadiq Nagar claiming that a bomb was kept on the school’s premises.

“The Indian School in Sadiq Nagar received a bomb threat via email. As a precautionary measure, the school has been vacated. Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad informed”, informed the police officials.

Earlier this month, the Delhi Police stated that an email was received on the official email ID of Indian Public School, Sadiq Nagar, BRT road, which is under the jurisdiction of Defence Colony police station, stating that a bomb was on the school’s premises.

The school administration immediately notified the local police. Soon after, Delhi Police officers, the bomb disposal squad, and the dog squad arrived on the scene. The school was evacuated, and a thorough search was carried out, but no bomb was discovered.
