The visibility in most of the northern states remained low, with Bhatinda in Punjab and Bikaner in Rajasthan recording “zero visibility,” according to the India Meteorological Department. There is hardly 50 metres of visibility in the national capital at this time.
Punjab as a whole continued to have limited visibility; Amritsar recorded a visibility of 25 metres and Ambala a visibility of 50 metres.
Even Haryana experienced poor visibility. Chandigarh had a visibility of 200 metres whereas Ambala and Hissar recorded lows of 25 and 50 metres, respectively.
IMD data shows that locations in Rajasthan like Churu and Sri Ganganagar had limited visibility of 25 and 50 metres, respectively.
West Bengal, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh all saw extremely low visibility on the day. Visibility in West Bengal and Odisha only reached 50 metres, while North Bengal reported 200 metres.
