The state government is meticulously planning to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience for guests, transforming Ayodhya into a must-visit spiritual destination on the global map.

The comprehensive plan includes Ayodhya being adorned in festive attire with multilingual signage and thematic decorations inspired by Ramayana characters. The public will be encouraged to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness, with additional manpower and waste management systems deployed. Guests will experience exceptional hospitality, positioning Ayodhya as a global spiritual destination.

Smart signage, Volvo buses, and helicopter services will facilitate easy travel, and dedicated security arrangements will be in place. The Safe City project and CCTV cameras will ensure a secure environment.

Ayodhya’s rich heritage will be woven into the experience, with establishments named after Ramayana characters and an enhanced tradition of Saryu Aarti. A digital tourist app will offer immersive information about Ayodhya’s history and key locations.

Plans for Ayodhya’s sustained development include cleanliness initiatives, improved public toilets, and transportation systems for nearby railway stations. The city will undergo a facelift, with the removal of encroachments, installation of new railings, and regular cleaning of public toilets and restrooms.

From January 14th to March 24th, 2024, Ayodhya will host cultural programs, including bhajan-kirtan, lamp lighting, Ramkatha discourses, Nagar Sankirtans, and more. Initiatives are planned to keep the timeless wisdom of the Ramayana alive, with renowned storytellers, traditional Ramlilas, and bhajan singers contributing to the cultural tapestry.
