Gujarat’s freshly sworn-in Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, made a courtesy call on India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, in New Delhi on Wednesday.
During his visit, Rajnath Singh congratulated Gujarat Chief Minister Nitin Gadkari on the state’s historic election victory and the state’s overall progress. Bhupendra Patel shared images from the encounter on social media.
CM in a twitter post wrote “In New Delhi, I had a courtesy meeting with India’s Defense Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh ji. Shri Rajnath Singh sent his warmest wishes for Gujarat’s historic win in the elections and for the state’s overall growth.”
Bhupendra Patel made a courtesy call on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Earlier on December 13, Bhupendra Patel took over his post in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Patel took the oath of office on Monday, along with his 16 other ministers, and later assigned portfolios to them after winning 156 of the 182 seats in the recent state election.
