Twitter CEO Elon Musk went to microblogging site on Wednesday to address the subject of whether the platform should provide universal amnesty to other banned accounts.
Sticking on Twitter Musk asked “Should Twitter grant a blanket amnesty to banned accounts, providing they have not breached the law or participated in egregious spam?”
The polls survey will be released on November 25, 2022, at around 11:30 PM IST.
Earlier, Musk also posted a poll on Twitter asking people to vote on whether to revive account of former US President Donald Trump, who was previously banned for life for inciting violence.
“Reinstate previous President Trump,” the billionaire Twitter owner wrote, offering a yes or no vote.
After an hour of Twitter polling, Musk wrote “Trump poll collecting 1 million votes per hour.”
According to the report, more than 15 million Twitter users participated in the poll, with 51.8 percent voting in favour of reinstatement.
During a video conference when a panel at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership gathering asked if he wanted to return to Twitter, former president replied saying “I don’t see any purpose for it.”
Earlier in 2020, Trump’s account was suspended in the aftermath of January 6 insurgency on Capitol Hill following US Presidential elections, which resulted in legal issues for the former US President.
