Pakistan Removes Its Flags From Pakistan Posts On International Border

Pakistan removed its flags from the Pakistan posts on the international border. Tensions along the India-Pakistan border have spiked after Pakistan reportedly removed its national flags from military posts on the international border. This significant development comes in the wake of a firm response from India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi granting full operational freedom to the armed forces.

Ceasefire Violations Escalate

Reports of repeated ceasefire violations over the last several days have added to the mounting tensions. NewsX journalist Ashik, reporting live from the border, confirmed the flag removal and linked it to the escalating conflict.

“Pakistan has removed its flag from the Pakistan post on the international border. Uh, that’s a big development that we are tracking at this point in time. This information has been given to us by our reporters who are on the ground. And again, remember, there have been a lot of ceasefire violations that have been reported in the past six days, let alone the ones that have been reported overnight,” Ashik said.

He further mentioned specific areas like the Line of Control and the Paran sector in Jammu, where such violations have been taking place. Even Sharpi Akur has witnessed gunfire, suggesting that these skirmishes are widespread and sustained.

On-Ground Reports Confirm Flag Removal

NewsX journalist AJ Johnal, reporting with visuals from the ground in the Braal sector, added more confirmation to the development. According to him, the Pakistani army had violated the ceasefire the previous night, resulting in panic among local civilians. As the shelling resumed, the fear among villagers only grew.

“Yes, you know, certainly what we have seen — that when we have reached here on the ground — and this is one of the locations in Braal where Pakistani army violated last day at night — and it was definitely a tough time for the civilians over here because when firing once again started, that is something which makes the people scary,” he said, while asking his camera crew to focus on a Pakistani post.

In the footage shown, the Pakistani flag was notably absent from the top of the post, indicating a deliberate move. “These are the exclusive videos where one can see that Pakistan have removed its flag from the top of this post. Why? It seems that Pakistan [is] feeling scary because number of times we have seen the Pakistan, they are saying that there are… this Pakistani—I mean Indian army could launch attack on Pakistan and that’s why they may [be] feeling scared,” he added.

Johnal speculated that fear of a possible Indian airstrike might have driven the Pakistani side to take down their national symbols from the border posts.

Civilians Caught in the Crossfire

The ongoing violations have placed border residents in grave danger. Many are reportedly scared for their lives, as the shelling often takes place at night, leaving them no time to seek proper shelter. The removal of flags appears to be a symbolic act, but one that suggests Pakistan is bracing for a stronger military response from India in the coming days.

The situation remains tense, and both countries are on high alert. NewsX has promised continuous updates as more details emerge from the volatile border regions.
