The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Session 2 will conclude on March 2, 2024. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the entrance exam can do so by visiting the official website of JEE Main. It is important to note that the deadline for the successful transaction of the prescribed application fee is also March 2, 2024.

Candidates will receive information regarding their examination city by the third week of March 2024. The admit cards will be available for download three days before the scheduled examination date. The examination is set to take place between April 1 and April 15, 2024, with the results scheduled to be announced on April 25, 2024.

Here are the steps to register:

1. Go to the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration link on the homepage.
3. Complete the registration process and log in to your account.
4. Fill out the application form with accurate information.
5. Upload necessary documents and proceed to pay the fee.
6. After completing the payment, submit the form.
7. Remember to take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

The JEE Main exam serves as the entrance exam for esteemed institutions like the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).

What are the eligibility criteria: 

– To be eligible, candidates must secure a minimum of 75 per cent marks in their class 12 examination or rank in the top 20 percentile of their respective Board’s 12th-grade examination.
– For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates, the qualifying marks are reduced to 65 per cent.
– Furthermore, specific subject combinations in the qualifying examination are necessary for admission to BE/BTech and BArch/BPlanning courses in these institutes.
