The teaser for the next suspense thriller “Drishyam 2” was released on Thursday.
Ajay Devgn posted the teaser on social media along with the comment, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Yaad dilaye ki? Drishyam 2 opens in theatres on November 18, 2022.
Fans swamped the comment area with red heart and fire emojis as soon as the teaser was released.
The movie, which also has Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, and Shriya Saran in the main parts, is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The movie is scheduled to premiere on November 18, 2022.
In the popular 2015 movie “Drishyam,” Ajay Devgn played Vijay, who deceived everyone into thinking that his family had taken a vacation. This was a clever ruse to save his family from being charged with murder. In the follow-up, Ajay is all prepared to continue playing one of his most interesting roles on screen. The path that the tale reveals makes the listener wonder if there is a chance for him to escape this time.
As Inspector General of Police Meera Deshmukh, Tabu will reprise her performance.
The same-titled Malayalam film from 2013 was remade for the Hindi language with Ajay playing the major role.
Director Nishikant Kamat, who received a National Award for his work, passed away in 2020 at the age of 50.
Ajay Devgn’s next appearance will be in the forthcoming comedy “Thank God,” which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.
He also has the historical drama “Maidaan” with Boney Kapoor and his next feature “Bholaa” in the works.
