PM Modi Connected Cultures After Centuries Through Kashi Tamil Sangamam: Amit Shah

HM Shah said that the Kashi Tamil Sangamam is a fantastic endeavour by PM to revive India’s cultural unity and that the occasion has served as a bridge to bring the two areas together.

According to Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday, the Kashi Tamil Sangamam is a significant endeavour by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to restore India’s cultural unity and the occasion has served as a bridge to foster better ties between the two areas.

At the Kashi Tamil Sangamam’s closing ceremony in Varanasi, the Union Home Minister declared that the foundation of India’s unity is its cultural diversity.

“In the year of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attempted to rekindle India’s cultural harmony by arranging the Kashi Tamil Sangamam. Through the Kashi Tamil Sangamam, PM Modi has tried to bridge centuries of cultural divide. India’s cultural revolution is likely to start from here,” he said.

According to the Home Minister, India has various languages, cultures, grammatical systems, artistic traditions, and civilizations.

According to Amit Shah, India is a geocultural nation, and “the foundation of our togetherness is our cultures.” Through the Kashi Tamil Sangamam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed to have reconnected these civilizations after centuries.

He claimed that the Kashi Tamil Sangamam had established a new atmosphere of love and trust between the two areas.

“Today, I want to spread the idea that love and trust are identical in that neither can be forced. Between the two regions, Kashi Tamil Sangamam has cultivated a new atmosphere of love and trust “added he.

He praised Varanasi’s citizens for their kind reception of visitors from Tamil Nadu.

He claimed that the occasion served as a bridge to unite the two culturally diverse areas.

In order to promote the ideals of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” the Kashi Tamil Sangamam was arranged as part of the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.”

PM Modi kicked off the month-long event on November 19, 2022.

The goal was to reestablish the long-standing relationship between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. The Kashi Tamil Sangamam event was attended by more than 2,500 people from Tamil Nadu, including sports, writers, entrepreneurs, farmers, and cultural and folk performers. Delegations from Tamil Nadu also travelled to Prayagraj and Ayodhya in addition to Kashi.

The convention included displays of art, films, handlooms, and handicrafts in addition to numerous programs in the domains of education, art and culture, literature, sports, and literature.

Ministers from the Union government attended the month-long celebration, along with ministers from the Uttar Pradesh government and other dignitaries.
