Delhi Monsoon Live Updates: Delhi saw moderate rainfall Wednesday, breaking a humid spell. The IMD forecasts continued rain for the capital and widespread showers across India, including heavy downpours in Telangana, Kerala, Goa, and the Himalayan states through July 28. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also likely.

Heavy rainfall this morning caused widespread waterlogging and traffic disruptions across several parts of Delhi-NCR.

Safdarjung, Delhi’s primary weather station, recorded 8.8 mm of rainfall between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM on Tuesday, as per the Indian Meterological Department (IMD). The Ridge in north Delhi reported the highest rainfall at 22.4 mm during the same period, followed by 22.2 mm at Rajghat, 14.2 mm at Lodhi Road, 13.5 mm in Pusa, 11 mm in Najafgarh, 1.5 mm in Ayanagar, and 0.5 mm in Palam.

In the 24 hours leading up to 8:30 AM, the Ridge had logged a total of 64.8 mm of rainfall.
