Uttarkashi Cloudburst LIVE: 130 People Rescued So Far, 8-10 Army Soldiers Reported Missing
Two separate cloudbursts have happened in Uttarkashi and led to a mudslide in Dharali village, near Harsil in Uttarkashi and Sukhi Top.
These cloudbursts led to flash floods which hit hotels and residential buildings in Dharali village situated at the high-altitude region which is 8,600 feet above sea level.
The residents shot a video footage that showed huge water waves gushing through the area.
The Indian Army, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indo Tibetan Border Patrol (ITBP) have deployed in the rescue operations and 130 people have been rescued so far.
