Richa Chadha’s remark regarding the 2020 Galwan clash, in which numerous Indian Army troops perished, has been denounced by Akshay Kumar.

Richa was called out on Twitter by Akshay Kumar, who tweeted a screenshot of her statement. Along with the photo, he included his remark, which stated, “It pains me to see this. Nothing should ever cause us to be ungrateful to our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain”

Richa Chadha responded on Wednesday to Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement that the Indian Army is ready to carry out any orders to retake Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Lt General Dwivedi’s comments referred to the Defence Minister’s recent address, in which he repeated New Delhi’s determination to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), stating that all refugees will be given their land and homes back.

Lieutenant General Dwivedi stated, “In terms of the Indian Army, it will carry out any order issued by the Government of India. We shall always be prepared if such directives are issued.”

Richa turned to Twitter to share the comment, writing, “Galwan says hey.”

As soon as she posted this, social media erupted, with individuals accusing her of disrespecting the army by mentioning the 2020 battle between India and China.
