This evening, a sizable fire broke out in a slum in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The event was reported in Noida’s Sector 93’s Gejha village.
According to the police, firemen are attempting to put out the fire. There are at least a dozen fire engines on the scene.
Footage of the slum show residents scurrying for cover. The scene is chaotic, according to the cops. There are no confirmed casualties.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. As soon as the fire started, there was an extreme commotion in the vicinity. Phase 2 of Noida is where Sector-93’s current location is located. The fire started, according to the authorities, at 7 o’clock. Then, smoke was observed rising in the sky like a balloon. According to a police official, the local Phase 2 police station staff and the fire department are present where rescue and fire fighting activities are being conducted.
A massive fire started at a plastic factory around two weeks ago in Greater Noida’s Kasna neighbourhood, close to the Ecotech police station. An early inquiry determined that a short circuit was the reason for the incident.
