PM Modi In China: Glimpse Of Grand Heartwarming Welcome By China Indian Community

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tianjin, China, on Saturday for a two-day visit, marking his first trip to the country in seven years. He will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit on August 31 and September 1, which will host leaders from the 10-member bloc. Officials confirmed that PM Modi’s schedule includes several high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit. Modi to Meet Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin

During his stay, Prime Minister Modi will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday. The meeting will take place on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Tianjin. On September 1, Modi will also engage in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both meetings are seen as part of India’s continuing diplomatic engagement with major global powers under the SCO umbrella. The discussions will focus on cooperation across regional and multilateral forums, addressing trade, energy, and connectivity issues among SCO member states.
