The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that on Wednesday morning, a low-density earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck Basar town in the Lepa-Rada region of the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The earthquake happened today at roughly 7:1 am, 58 kilometres north-west-northeast of Basar, according to NCS. The earthquake occurred 10 kilometres below the surface of the earth.
On November 23, 2022, at 7:01:40 IST, an earthquake of a magnitude of 3.8 occurred 58 kilometres northwest of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh, according to a tweet by NCS.
In the early hours of Wednesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter Scale was felt close to Nashik in Maharashtra.
According to the NCS, the earth’s tectonic plates began to shift approximately 4 am in a region 89 kilometres west of Nashik. The earthquake occurred 5 kilometres below the surface of the earth.
