India as Superpower Will Work for Global Welfare: Rajnath Singh

The union minister remarked, “We want to be a superpower to work for the benefit of the world.”

Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, stressed on Saturday that “we would never have the aim to seize even one inch of the territory of any other nation” and that India wishes to be a powerhouse and work for the benefit of the entire globe.

The union minister remarked, “We want to be a superpower to work for the benefit of the globe,” while addressing the FICCI Annual Convention and AGM in the capital. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about five pledges to the nation during his address from Red Fort, which is crucial to making India a superpower. It shouldn’t be assumed that we want to dominate any other country or that we have the intention to seize even a small portion of its territory, Singh said.

The Defence Minister stated, “Whether it is Galwan or Tawang, our defence troops have proven their courage and gallantry,” in reference to the current India-China border conflict.

“China’s GDP was smaller than India’s in 1949. India did not even make the top 10 list of economies till 1980. India’s economy was ranked ninth in the world in 2014. India’s economy, which is currently the fifth largest in the world and close to $3.5 trillion, “Speaking on “India@100: AmritKaal- Sustainable & Inclusive,” Rajnath Singh stated.
