Hasan Ali, individual who was arrested, is named. Based on top-secret intelligence, a team made up of police and members of the CRPF conducted an operation in Nagaon town and confiscated marijuana from a home owned by Hasan Ali, the area’s top distributor of the drug.

Hasan Ali transported the illegal goods from Dimapur in Nagaland and distributed them throughout the Nagaon area, according to Leena Doley, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nagaon district.

“Under the direction of the Officer-in-Charge of the Nagaon Police Station, we were able to locate 400 kg of marijuana at Hasan Ali’s home today. According to our research, he is Nagaon’s primary ganja distributor. He transports the illegal goods from Dimapur, Nagaland, and distributes them from his residence. The ganja has been found and seized. We continue to fight against NDPS goods and narcotics. It’s a heavy load, “says Doley.

Earlier on Thursday, in Karimganj district, Assam Police arrested two drug dealers and confiscated an enormous amount of illegal substances worth Rs 12 lakh.
