In all the Mumbai glamour and festive spirit, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant welcomed ‘Antilia Cha Raja’ into their eminent home, Antilia, for Ganesh Chaturthi 2025. The newlyweds led a spirited procession, a blend of reverence, culture, and glitz that held the city captive, their very first Ganpati Utsav after their grand wedding in July 2024. This is not just a festival but a spirit of devotion, love and faith which is running in everyone’s blood.
A Grand Welcome for ‘Antilia Cha Raja’
On August 26, 2025, Antilia was transformed into a divine exhibition with marigold garlands and ornate textile installations., all set to welcome ‘Bappa.’ Anant Ambani, dressed in a kurta set pairing it with a Nehru jacket with golden embroidery on it. While Radhika opted for a divine yet simple look in floral sleeveless blouse with round neckline, pairing it with matching pants and diamond necklace and ring with matching rings.
The lovely couple welcomed the devotees with folded hands as a tempo draped in flowers carried the majestic Ganpati idol being made by local artist Chitale of Matunga. Then came the dhols for the idol’s entry, combined with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” celebrated by Mukesh Ambani and his daughter Isha joining the couple, giving an family touch to an opulent celebration, which had crowds and paparazzi who came to witness the Ambanis’ glorious faith.
Amabani’s Legacy of Faith and Charity
Ganesh Chaturathi celebrations of the family are a tradition in Mumbai, they are known for their vibrant and grand Ganpati welcome. In 2024, Anant and the Reliance Foundation gifted a 20 kg gold crown worth Rs 15 crore to the Lalbaugcha Raja, a gesture symbolising productivity and respect.
This year, their first as a married couple, Anant and Radhika took the festivities up a notch, hosting A-list Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan alongside political dignitaries to take a part in the cultural relevance of Antilia during the 11-day-long festival.
