Jack White tore into Donald Trump on social media, calling him “a danger not just to America but the entire world,” and he wasn’t mincing words about it.
Earlier this week, White posted a photo of the Oval Office on Instagram, basically calling it a tacky disaster after Trump’s makeover said it looked like “a vulgar, gold-leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler’s dressing room.”

White House comms director Steven Cheung didn’t miss a beat and fired back, tossing out the classic “washed-up, has-been loser” insult, claiming White’s just “masquerading as a real artist.” Pretty rich, honestly.
White came back swinging on Wednesday with a long, scathing post. He pointed out the irony that Cheung and company only got riled up over a comment about interior decorating, not, you know, things like “gestapo ICE tactics” or the whole “attempted coup and mob insurrection” episode. Priorities, right?

“How petty and pathetic and thin-skinned could this administration get?” he wrote, before mocking Cheung’s “masquerading as a real artist” jab with, “Thank you for giving me my tombstone engraving!” Then he just went for the jugular: “Trump is masquerading as a human being.”
He didn’t hold back on White House staff, either, calling Cheung and press secretary Karoline Leavitt “professional liar toadies.”
From there, he unleashed on Trump and his base: “That orange grifter has spent more tax payer money cheating at golf than helping ANYONE in the country. Improve. Anything. There is no progress with him, only smoke and mirrors and tax breaks for the ultra wealthy. So maga folk, enjoy your concrete paving over of the rose garden, your $200 million ballroom in the White House, and your gaudy-ass gold spray-painted trinkets from Home Depot, ‘cause he ain’t spending any money on helping YOU unless you fit into his white supremacist country club rich idiot agenda. Wow, he hates who you hate….good for you, be proud of yourselves, how Christian of you all.”
The singer finished the whole thing by calling Trump a “conman” and a “low-life fascist,” then added, “And no I’m not a Democrat either, I’m a human being raised in Detroit, I’m an artist who’s owned his own businesses like my own upholstery shop and record label since I was 21, who’s got enough street sense to spot a cheap grifter and a thief.”
