The resounding victory of India over Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup 2025 held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium caused an emotional outburst in Pakistan. The Pakistani supporters rushed to social media to express their anger.

Pakistan lost to India by a margin of five wickets on Sunday night to win their ninth, and record, Asian Cup title.

India’s Win Triggers Emotional Outburst

Tilak Varma, with a patient 69 not out in 53 balls, led the pursuit with the help of Shivam Dube, who made 33, in a hassle-free overhaul of the 146-run target of Pakistan.

Previously, the middle order of Pakistan was shattered by Kuldeep Yadav 4-30 who had received a strong start by Sahibzada Farhan (57) and Fakhar Zaman (46) at the openers’ end.

India was celebrating another continental victory and the Pakistan fans were outraged. Videos doing rounds on X depicted some of their fans lamenting the performance of their team.

Even when we are missing one fan, who looked really angry after the match, remarked: We can not even when the whole of Pakistan wishes to win against India.

We collect bodies off the field and are beaten on the field, as well. India was the father and will be. Our generation is unable to fight them. And we are not even their equal, their shoes. By refusing to shake hands with us Patidars they did the right thing.

Pakistan Fans Furious After Final Loss to India

The disappointment of another fan was also blunt and he said, Sab kuch galat hua (everything went wrong).

Daniesh Kaneria, a former Pakistani cricketer went to X to post a picture of a TV in a cage saying that the age old tradition of Pakistani fans smashing up their televisions after their team lost to India in a cricket match was a joke.

There were others who accused the bowling attack. “We enjoyed the cricket match. However, had Haris Rauf bowled well and not given sixes, we would have won the match, as opined one fan, an opinion that was shared by many including the anger of most fans over the death-overs collapse by Pakistan.

One other fan displayed some excitement and informed that there will be additional opportunities. Pakistan did not win the match, but the match was really entertaining…We will come next time and hope to win the match. ‘Mauka hi Mauka,'” the fan said.
