Adam Pearce has also verified a key portion with Seth Rollins and a few marquee matches on this week WWE Raw, which is broadcast on Netflix. The following episode is full of much anticipation to WWE Clash in Paris later this month.
Seth Rollins to Address WWE Universe
In his latest Sunday social media update, Pearce said that Seth Rollins will comment on the WWE Universe on Raw. Rollins, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion is facing his biggest title fight to date at WWE Clash in Paris.
Rollins will lose his title in a Fatal Four-Way match to CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight. Raw revealed this last week, shocking Rollins and his fans at the magnitude of what they are about to face.
Rollins and his Vision stable have been on rampage in Raw during the past two weeks. The group also left CM Punk, Uso and Knight lying on the ground last Monday, and the previous week, Roman Reigns himself was ambushed by the group. The Vision has been merciless in establishing its supremacy.
Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at SummerSlam, immediately after Punk won the gold by defeating Gunther. As Clash in Paris, featuring a dangerous title defense, looms, fans have been curious as to what Rollins would have to say regarding his match.
New Matches Announced for WWE Raw
Pearce also announced two new bouts on this Monday card. Iyo Sky will match up against Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match and Jey Uso will enter the ring against a giant, Bron Breakker. The two matches bring a new edge to what is already a packed episode of WWE Raw.
The conflict between Uso and Breakker might give the former some impetus to the upcoming Clash in Paris where Uso will be competing in the world championship. In the meantime, Sky is trying to recover after a humiliating loss last week to Roxanne Perez but is distracted by the arrival of Asuka, Kairi Sane.
Naomi Set to Address Her Status
Pearce also pointed out that Naomi will address why she was absent at last week WWE Raw. Naomi was initially set to defend her WWE Women World Championship against Iyo Sky, but was not medically cleared to compete, so last minute changes were made.
Sky wound up having to fight Perez, rather than the title bout, and lost. Naomi will discuss her stance and her next title defense against Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Clash in Paris. The WWE Universe will want to find out.
Becky Lynch, Xavier Woods in Action
The women division also gets a more detailed attention with Becky Lynch defending her WWE Women Intercontinental championship against Natalya on Raw. Lynch is a fighting champion, and her match with Natalya is another good match to the night.
Also, Xavier Woods will enter a singles match against Penta. Woods has been determined to make a name as a threat outside of tag team wrestling and his match with Penta will provide him with a chance to show his abilities against one of the most dangerous wrestlers in the roster.
WWE Raw on August 18 before WWE Clash in Paris will have drama, surprises and moments that cannot be missed with Seth Rollins speaking, Roman Reigns teasing, and major matches in both men and women divisions.
