Donald Trump, like other high-profile figures, Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, had long sought to distance himself from Jeffrey Epstein but a shocking moment in August 2024 left him rattled when he realized that the chartered plane he was aboard had once belonged to Jeffrey Epstein.
Renowned author Michael Wolff details the dramatic incident in his upcoming book, All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, set for release on February 25. According to media, Trump was overcome with panic upon learning about the plane’s past and exclaimed: “I’m going to die on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane!”
How Did the Flight Nightmare Unfold?
The ordeal happened when Trump’s personal aircraft developed mechanical issues, forcing his team to arrange a last-minute replacement. A Gulfstream jet was quickly secured to fly him and his campaign staff from a fundraiser in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Aspen, Colorado. It was only after takeoff that Trump was informed about the jet’s owner being Jeffrey Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein, a once-prominent financier, was arrested on July 6, 2019, on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy. Federal prosecutors accused him of sexually abusing young girls and running a trafficking operation between 2002 and 2005. Court documents revealed that Jeffrey Epstein lured victims to his Palm Beach, Florida, and New York homes, coercing them into providing “massages” that escalated into sexual encounters. Many victims were paid hundreds of dollars, trapping them in an exploitative cycle.
While Trump had no direct connection to Epstein’s crimes, his brief social association with him had already been a subject of scrutiny.
