Gold and silver Rates on MCX – August 20, 2025
As of September 4, 2025, gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) are seeing some profit-taking after reaching record highs but remain at elevated levels.
October gold futures traded at around ₹1,05,890 per 10 grams in early trading, down 1.22% from yesterday’s peak of over ₹1,06,000. September GoldM (Mini) futures had risen on September 3, closing near ₹1,05,600, but also showed signs of profit-taking on September 4. GoldPetal contracts expiring on September 30 closed at about ₹10,688. Despite the slight dip, gold remains strong as investors stay cautious amid market fluctuations.
As of September 4, 2025, silver futures prices on the MCX showed some recovery.
The September silver contract was priced at ₹122,931, up by ₹290 (0.24%) from the previous day after a small dip on September 3. The November Silver Mini contract traded at ₹125,529, rising by ₹1,176 (0.95%) on September 4, bouncing back from a slight decline the day before. This shows that silver prices are starting to gain strength again after a small fall, as investors remain active in the market. Overall, silver is showing signs of a steady comeback.
