Not Just Drama: Ashnoor Kaur Vows to Stay ‘Involved’, Not Aggressive

In an Exclusive NewsX interview, When asked about her strategy inside the house, whether she’d take an aggressive approach or stand back and watch, Ashnoor makes it clear that she prefers the word involved over aggressive. She wants to be super involved in everything. She’s here to entertain the audience and give them an honest version of herself, without creating unnecessary drama or playing the blame game. It’s not about being loud, it’s about being present.

Though she admits that she has not watched bigg boss quite often, there are still a few contestants who’ve left an impression on her. She mentions Priyanka, saying she appreciated how upfront she was, and also speaks highly of Hina di( Hina Khan),  especially for how she performed in tasks and always managed to leave a mark with her fashion sense.

When thinking about viral or controversial Bigg Boss moments that have stuck with her, she recalls one particular incident that she couldn’t forget,  when someone threw pee on Rakhi’s brother Rohan. Even though she hasn’t followed the show closely, that moment stood out to her for how disgustingly gross it was.

This season of Bigg Boss will be longer than usual, running for 5.5 months instead of three and when asked how she plans to handle it,She claims that she has always been an extrovert and she feels both the personalities have their own pros and cons, and while being an extrovert she thinks the ability to go and new people and introduce herself to them is something very nice and the same way for introverts they have the ability to sit and observe and people won’t even notice a thing

When it comes to whether reality shows can be a turning point in someone’s career, she doesn’t hesitate for even a second. “100 percent,” she says confidently. Especially a show like Bigg Boss that’s loved by so many people, she believes anyone would be lucky to be part of it.

Ask her about the one motto she’ll be sticking to inside the house and she says it loud and clear:

 “I am in it to win it.”

From Turning Down Past Offers to Taking the Leap in Bigg Boss 19

And finally, when she was offered Bigg Boss 19, what was her first reaction? She shares that it’s not the first time the offer has come her way. It had been offered to her in the past, but she always felt she was either too young or just not ready. This year, though, she decided it was time. “I thought I should take the leap of faith and just go for it,” she says.

With that kind of mindset, Ashnoor is not walking in to just participate, she’s stepping into Bigg Boss 19 ready to give it everything, and ready to let the world see exactly who she is.
