Bharti Singh recently shared something really personal that not many people know.
Bharti Singh’s Birth Wasn’t Celebrated, But She Changed the Narrative
In a conversation with Raj Shamani she said that her own mother tried to abort her several times before she was born. As harsh as it sounds it’s the truth, she came into this world as a liability, she was not wanted by her own mother.
Bharti was th e third child and her dad worked in a factory, while her mother was a housewife. When her mother got to know that she is another child, she tried her best to have a miscarriage, she ate a certain fruits, did work outs or chores that one is not supposed to do in a pregnancy. But, the reason was simple Bharti was unplanned, it’s not like her mother didn’t want to love another child.
From ₹60 at Birth to Crores in Success
Despite all that, Bharti was born. She even joked about how cheap her birth was, the midwife charged just ₹60 to cut her umbilical cord. Fast forward to today, and Bharti is a huge name in comedy, making millions laugh every day. What’s even sweeter is that she’s been able to give back to her mom in a big way, she bought her a house worth crores.
Bharti’s journey shows that even when life starts rough, it can still turn out amazing. Her story is equal parts real and equal parts raw. It’s about how tough beginnings don’t define you, and sometimes, the people who struggle the most can surprise you with their strength.
How Bharti Singh Won India Over, One Laugh at a Time
Bharti stared with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, and right from the start, people just got her. That sharp wit, the way she could laugh at herself, and that laugh, loud, real, totally contagious. It didn’t take long before she was everywhere. Hosting shows, doing stand up, jumping into skits, even tearing up the dance floor on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Nothing happened overnight. She built it all, moment by moment, show by show, laugh by laugh. And now? She is more than just a comedian. She is a full blown brand. With her face on billboards, her voice on every mic, and a schedule that barely gives her a breather. Her net worth? Around twenty five crore rupees, and every bit of it earned the hard way.
