Following his official WWE contract expiry date on August 10, 2025, Karrion Kross finally returned to the ring adopting his old famous gimmick-name by the name Killer Kross. Later that month, on September 21 at WrestlePros Killer Smokeshow show in Rahway, New Jersey, he would make his first postWWE appearance and team with his real life wife and manager Scarlett Bordeaux.
Next destination for Karrion Kross: WrestlePro
To make it even more interesting, Kross has verbally confirmed Richard Holliday as his opponent in No Disqualification match, adding heaviness to excitement. The fight was hyped up over a heated online exchange between the two that recently took place quietly in London, when Holliday provoked Kross to answer him with a waning chilling line of superiority in taking away ‘all his fcking teeth’ and squeezing the oxygen out of his soul. Before this, WrestlePro had already publicized the approach of Kross and Scarlett, but without naming an opponent, which led to speculation. Fans are now assured of his debut in the wrestling ring in the independent circuit.
Carnage Tour and Karrion Kross
Besides the wrestling booking, Kross and Scarlett are undertaking a Killer Smokeshow, Carnage Tour, that involves comic con style meet and greets and signings in various locales across the US, between August and November, that mix the entertainment of performance with the fan interaction of a meet and greet. The event triggered a controversy over the departure of Kross in the industry. Some are certain that it is a genuine departure but others have a suspicion that it is a bluff in the story line. There are however confirmed indie bookings which mean that his exit to be with Scarlett might be true after all
The last match of Karrion with WWE was in SummerSlam 2025 that he lost to Sami Zayn. That match was his last in WWE, and now this is the beginning of a new era in the world of independent fights. Respectfully put, the sudden departure of Karrion Kross in the wrestling company WWE has led to a radical redesign and an awaited comeback in the wrestling business this time around, on his terms.
