The New Chapter of BLACKPINK
On August 18, 2025, YG held a channel that kicked out the headline, with the founder dismissing strong rumours by confirming that BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, are making new music. Yang Hyuk Suk shared, “A lot of people are curious about BLACKPINK’s album. I know that the BLACKPINK members and producers in charge of them are working very hard preparing the album. I’m hoping for BLACKPINK’s album to be out by November at the latest. That’s what I’m pushing for. We’ll do our best to get BLACKPINK’s album out soon.”
He exclaimed that November can be marked as the month that will open eyes to the world’s unattained greatness when the album will be dropped after the photoshoot of the album jacket. And social media is already buzzing with excitement.

Deadline World Tour: Balancing Music and Global Stages
BLACKPINK started their Deadline world tour from Goyang, South Korea, and recently lit up the stage at Wembley Stadium, London, setting the bar for their future and proving their global dominance.
The group is now going to take a two-month break from the tour to further fine-tune their sound and work on their upcoming group project. The tour will be back starting October, swarming into Asia, including Japan and Hong Kong, and up until January 2026. Their concerts mean that they just still keep on practicing while balancing stadium shows and studio tracks to deliver an album to rule the charts.
What to Expect: Sub-Units, Solo Ventures, and More
The most urgent speculation is related to the colour of the theme of the album and formation of sub units, JENLISA or CHAESOO. Following their solo careers, Jennie’s Mini album, Rose’s famous collabs, Lisa getting to act in The White Lotus, and Jisoo’s successful ventures.
YG’s upgraded production system, with over 50 in-house producers promises a bold and blockbuster comeback. Will BLACKPINK redefine K-pop again? November can’t come soon enough.
